Figured ya might need a break from the thanksgiving recipes😂. #1panmeal #chickenandrice #chefchosen Recipe 👇🏿👇🏿 My lil Rub- ( 4 chicken thighs ) 1 tablet chicken bouillon Sprinkle with of dry thyme Pinch of cayenne pepper 2 pinches of garlic powder Pinch of ginger powder Other things you need : 4 bone chicken thighs ( get skin on but take off you n keep it you’ll need it . 1 onion diced 4-5 mini sweet bell peppers sliced 3-4 garlic cloves crushed/ sliced / minced 1 potato medium diced About 2 cups of rice Water / stock ( 2 cups rice : 3 1/2 - 4 cups water ) Mix that up and add to your chicken thighs Add some olive oil to bind it along with some lime juice . On medium heat render the chicken fat then use the grease to sear your chicken thighs on both sides . Remove and set aside Add in your bell peppers, sauté for a min then your onions , season with salt pepper to taste ; sauté for a few then your shallots and garlic let it get fragrant. Add in your diced potatoes and rice and toast. Add 2 tbsp of chili garlic paste and toast some more . Add the water, along with ,just a little bit of sesame oil , about 1 tbsp soy sauce and hoisin soy . Mix that in . And add back in your chicken thighs. Bring the heat up and turn back down really low when most of the water looks gone . Then cover it over and simmer on low heat for 12-15 min .
