I remember the first time converse messaged me on my way home from school. Thought to myself, “this can’t be real? They want me to be apart of this?”. They gave me a pair of One Stars with my name on it and told me to just create. At the time, I was one of the youngest there and I thought I had no chance against these other creatives with so much experience, but in hindsight that pushed me even more. Throughout the last 5 years I would be trying to think of the best ways to capture converse. Whenever I thought I had maybe lost momentum or in a period of self-doubt, converse always presented amazing opportunities and in a way these moments felt like reassurance that I was on the right track. It all started off with me trying to photograph and impress Converse so that maybe one day I was lucky enough to earn a pair of GOLF Le Fleurs. 5 years later, I ended up meeting and hanging with the @feliciathegoat himself. Wild. The cherry on top? The people that I’ve met. Through the various experiences converse has provided, both behind and In front of the camera, I have befriended such cool, diverse and amazingly talented people. I have learnt and laughed so much with them. I can’t wait for the next one. Miss you guys too much. Converse didn’t even ask me to write this. It’s been over a month and I can’t stop thinking about the amazing experience of flying 30 @converseallstars from around the world to hangout, produce in a studio, learn from mentors, create cool shit, be in interviews, go to a concert and talk with Tyler.
