Even though we were poor, my parents wanted us to have the best birthday dinners; my sister’s and my birthdays are in Dec and my brother’s is in March. I remember going to buy lobster with my parents whenever it was our bdays, even though I always told them I didn’t need or want to eat lobster, because I knew how expensive it was, but they treated us. Now, I’m able to treat my parents to lobster, but unfortunately they’re dealing with high cholesterol or gout, so they can’t really eat it.
