Always say yes to looking at the dessert menu. Especially when there are dessert cocktails. 😜 @ronan_la invited me in to check out its brand-new summer drinks by @jeremy.a.wade. #hosted All were refreshing and tasty. Loved the Donnybrook Punch with @slanewhiskey and black tea and the Too Darn Hot with watermelon and limoncello. ❤️ But just when we were about to finish up, the server asked if we wanted to check out the dessert menu. YES! I was thrilled that they offered not only a selection of amari, including an amaro flight, but three dessert drinks. But I had to try the Lady Godiva, a super creamy milkshake-like cocktail and Pop Pop’s Flannel with Canadian whiskey. And instead of the espresso martini, I ordered the tiramisu because TIRAMISU! I love how the dessert cocktails were creamy and decadent without being heavy, too sweet or super rich. Still had room for that tiramisu! Here’s what we tasted: 🍉 Too Darn Hot: vodka, limoncello, watermelon, chartreuse, cucumber-mint sour. Loved how the limoncello made the watermelon taste even more refreshing without overpowering it. ⛅️ Head in the Clouds: tequila blanco, @campari, macadamia, grapefruit, mandarin meringue. Juicy, bitter finish, but full flavored. 🫖 Donnybrook Punch: Irish whiskey, Benedictine, black tea, lemon, blackberry. Love the tea and floral notes. 🏝 Shipwreck’d: Bacardi 8, pineapple, ginger, lime, dark rum float.
