Calling all K-12 Educators! ⁠ ⁠ Join Cheekwood and Vanderbilt’s Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies (CLACX) to explore the traditions of el Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Guatemala!⁠ ⁠ This day-long workshop for educators is happening on Friday, September 30. It will feature presentations by Guatemalan graduate students Juan Lopez Juarez and María de Los Ángeles Corado (Vanderbilt University Department of Anthropology), as well as a related hands-on activity ready for classroom implementation.
