Yesterday we said farewell to our sweet Prince Max. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. He was unlike any dog I’ve ever met. A fancy boy. Fetch was beneath him, he never turned down a fine cheese and his favorite activity was bedtime, where he’d lounge with us - as long as possible - savoring the morning cuddles and avoiding the day. Waking up today was not the same without our ball of fur nestled between the nook of my arm or knee. I am unsure when this tightness in my chest will subside but I’m trying to remember how fortunate I am to have known such a special and loving creature. RIP Maxwell Niles Hawkington aka Max aka Prince Max aka Maxy Boy aka Sweet Pea aka Little Bud aka My Little Shadow. You will be forever missed. ❤️
