MASS SHOOTING AVERTED. MAN ARRESTED FOR STASHING 40 GUNS W/AMMO IN HOSPITAL • • A New Jersey hospital marketing director is facing charges after it was discovered that he was stashing almost 40 firearms along with ammo in an unsecured office closet. The guns were discovered in a bomb threat on Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus on July 18th that turned out to be a hoax. Although the threat wasn’t real, the police dog picked up the scent of the stockpile and alerted officers to its presence. They found 11 handguns, 27 rifles or shotguns, and an AR45 along with ammo and some high-capacity magazines. Later, they connected the stockpile to 46-year-old Reuven Alonalayoff, the marketing director who is now facing multiple charges, mostly surrounding unlawful possession of certain firearms and magazines. • Now, one has to wonder. Why would a person need to keep 40 guns inside a hotel closet? Most likely answers? Either they were experimenting on some research that had a good chance of creating zombies, or, he was getting ready to commit a workplace mass shooting. Considering that #ThisIsAmerica and mass shootings are commonplace, it’s probably the latter.
