I saw a unique opportunity to support a film which ordinarily wouldn’t have been made without independent funding. @YouResembleMe, tells the true story of one woman’s journey into radicalization. Knowing how film can play an enormous role in spreading messages at a global level – I saw an opportunity to give the public a better understanding of why some people in marginalized communities end up making terrible decisions. I hope this story will help us understand the human struggle, and promote peace internationally.
