My darling dad passed on Saturday and I will miss him for the rest of my life. I’m posting this because he watched my Instagram regularly - like all parents do, and even though I rolled my eyes, I’m so glad he did. But he would be delighted to have made it to the ‘gram 🙈 My dad taught me how to be who I am. To be feisty and gracious. He gave me my sense of humour Taught me how to run a business How to cook How to dance What red wine is best To always sleep in the recovery position when you’ve had too much to drink To plan for Christmas in September 🤦🏼‍♀️ To make every event a celebration He opened his Harley St practice at 21 and I opened my first salon at 20. He loved to tell me I beat him. He supported me through every business & life decision I ever made. He inspired me to better and to work harder. But also to put family first. I am so proud he was my dad and will always remember the adventures he created for us as well as my children I will be grateful for the rest of my life that I was able to talk to him before he passed, I feel so lucky to have been able to have that time. . Don’t put off what you want to do, say or see. Life is too damn short!! Buy the Harley & book the holiday! . I am taking this week to grieve and be with my family before we celebrate my dads awesome life. I will be back soon XoX
