it’s a PINK CHRISTMAS this year with mi familia 💗 I wish you could smell this pic. The house smells like heaven. I’m happy with the way this pink theme turned out 🥰 for those curious why we choose a monochromatic Christmas theme every year... The color we choose each year honors and celebrates a loved one in our lives who has passed away. Decorating the tree has become therapeutic and has been a way for our fam to grieve, but also unites us. This year is the “Celestina Tree” honoring my great grandma. Our family matriarch was a strong, spicy Latina with a heart of gold. She LOVED flowers. Pink roses were her absolute favorite. She passed that love of floral arrangements onto me. I filled the tree with dozens of fresh long stem roses, baby’s breath, eucalyptus, pics and items that remind us of her 🫔🌶️👑🌸🌷🇲🇽 Life is short- cherish those close to you.
