✨🕰⏳Somehow it was 2 years ago today ⏳🕰✨ that I drove a U-Haul to Colorado, pre-vax 😱 pre-testing 2020, to install my room + shoot my episode for @housebeautiful @wholehomeofficial house!!!! 2-year-ago me had no idea that I had it in me to attempt such an ambitious project!!!! And then (swipe right) 5-year-ago me wrote this sweetly timid set of goals for 2017 that I just found in my files - I had no IDEA what was in store 🤣 I guess this post is for all of us who are feeling how I was when I wrote them - a few years into my own thing, making some traction but not super confident and not really comfortable stating the Big Longterm Dreams out loud. If you haven’t heard it enough, you’re doing great and on your way – don’t worry about anyone else’s path!!!!!! Ok and on that note, hurray for some student loans being canceled!!!! Someone else catching a break doesn’t diminish how hard you worked to pay yours off. Also I didn’t even have student loans after college - the ways that freedom set me ahead financially and liberated me to make choices in my twenties is what I would wish for everyone. A lot of visible success is built on a foundation of all kinds of privileges that ppl often don’t see!!!! Take your blessings and celebrate others’. Joy is expansive and interest-FREEEE!
