Et voilà, here it is! One of the fruits of my collaboration with Original BTC @originalbtc. I was tasked with designing a practical collection of go-anywhere lights which was pretty exciting in all its simplicity, especially as I have been an avid fan of BTC ever since I began working in interiors. I wanted to emphasise the magic of turning on a light. The 41 little holes glow like stars and the light is reflected across the bone china and brass elements as well as through the holes onto the wall behind. It makes me feel like Christmas every time I turn one on! I like for things to not be too static and have a possibility of variety. The 2 adjustable arms allow you to change things up depending on what kind of light you need, be that task or mood or even an uplighter. The base itself is raised on little brass feet which add a feeling of lightness (and can be adjusted if you have an uneven floor) and all the brass elements are left unlacquered which means each light will patinate in it’s own way over time.
