Pop! Goes the cocktail! 🫧🍸 You’re probably starting to see these magical aroma bubbles on cocktails everywhere. The playful take on smoked cocktails delivers the 💨 in a bubble that you then pop or wait for it to pop on its own right before you take that first sip. Here it’s served on the Pan-Am cocktail, one of my favorites off the new menu @themaybournebar. (See my previous ▶️ for a look at the 13 others.) @chrisamiam’s variation on the Hotel Nacional cocktail is made with Malawi Antler tea and apricot eau de vie, crowned with a cinnamon aroma bubble. Chris named it after the only U.S. airline to fly ✈️ to Cuba from the States. In this reel, the first clip actually happened after Chris had already served the drink and I asked him to do the bubble again since I didn’t get to film it popping that first time. But turns out it won’t last as long because, according to Chris, “citrus is the enemy of the bubble, so we have to spray the glass with a 3:1 water to sugar ratio to allow the bubble to stay.” But I still got the shot! 🥰 #smokebubbles #themaybournebeverlyhills #hotelnacional #beverlyhills
