Happy 2023 friends! 🥳 Took the first 4 days of the year off from social media to set intentions for the new year - excited - it’s going to be a good one full of lots of adventures! ✈️ What destination is at the top of your 2023 bucketlist? 🌎 This image has me dreaming of going back to Canada 🇨🇦 One of the most iconic images of the Canadian Rockies has become this shot of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park 🌲This alpine lake is fed by a glacier and is an otherworldly turquoise blue 💙 I first visited Canada on a girls getaway in 2015 and fell in love with the cute little town of Banff and the awe inspiring topography of Moraine Lake and Lake Louise 🥰🙌🏼 Of course these lakes have become a very popular attraction in recent years but if you haven’t been I highly suggest putting the providence of Alberta on your 2023 bucketlist 🌎 Canada is arguably one of the most beautifully rugged countries in the world! 🇨🇦🫶🏼 Tips For Visiting Moraine Lake 🏔🛶🌲🇨🇦 • The road to Moraine Lake reopens June 2023 • The lake is frozen October to late May so plan your visit from June - Sept • Sept is an ideal time to visit if you want to miss the high season summer crowds • There are several great walks / hikes around the lake • The most famous is this short walk up to Rockpile Trail where I took this photo • But the father you hike the less tourists there will be and the better views and photos you’ll get!
