PSA: Milliennial nostalgia incoming. I first saw @rilokileyofficial 20 years ago at Coachella. (Swipe to see vintage pics of @jennydianelewis & co over the years). Their albums were the soundtracks to aimless car rides with friends, breakups, joyful road trips. That Coachella was the same year that @blend_er introduced me to my soul mate @thomasandthemestones. 20 years later, our kiddos are 2 of my favorite concert buddies who are always down for last-minute adventures. (Sadly dad was out of town and had to miss the show!) The fact that they loved seeing one of my all-time favorite bands (+ @jennydianelewis @waxa_katie) and hearing them scream, “I know this song!” has been among the most magical moments in life so far. That, and 19/20something me is also pretty stoked that future her would be covering fashion shows while fangirling over her rock idols a few seats over. (Oh, and I will still never forgive myself for not asking Jenny Lewis and Maggie Rogers for a photo at that one Rodarte show at the Huntington Library.)
