I grew up with daily reminders of the horrors generations of my family faced in Ukraine for being Jewish, before they fled to the US to take refuge. As of Oct 7th, I no longer feel safe here. The largest Jewish genocide since the Holocaust was perpetrated by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and Jews are now being attacked globally in the aftermath. Antisemitic racism is running rampant and it can’t be fought by the Jewish community alone.
