This past holiday weekend, the 45th Navasartian Games and Festival celebrated Homenetmen’s renowned sports & scouts programs & brought the Armenian community back together in Los Angeles. It was organized by Homenetmen Western USA & the festival was held at the Los Angeles City College campus - a few blocks away from Little Armenia. Homenetmen was established over 100 years ago as a pan-Armenian organization, has chapters around the world & its motto is “Elevate Yourself and Others With You.” It was heartwarming to see multiple generations cheer on athletes, scouts & their families. Members of my family have participated & volunteered for decades & I wanted to thank the hard-working & dedicated people behind all of the chapters who made this experience possible for the first time since the pandemic started!
