JuanGa; reflección, 2022 Acrylic on adobe. Spent the last few months working up new adobe works. I could share this one for now- a portrait of our beloved JuanGa (short for Juan Gabriel). I decided to leave the background unpainted, raw adobe- expanding the work of the reflecting mirror I painted to the rest of the panel. What do we see when we look at soil/land?
