UNIFORM: MATERIAL STORIES - Wear Booklet, some close ups of my favourite pages UNIFORM: MATERIAL STORIES is an autobiographical exploration into the stories and memories held within wear to our garments. A custom made uniform produced in collaboration with Per Gotesson was worn over a 2 month period, and the wear to the uniform was recorded and sketched from memory into the booklet. Accompanying the wear is a diary entry relating to the memory stored in the wear. The cover depicts the silhouette of bacteria grown from samples taken from the uniform, representing new life from old stories. Cynaotype print on fabric and charcoal on recycled paper.
