🚀✨In 2022, I continued the journey that ended in 2020 due to the lockdown and a relapse into depression and addiction. The bottom was deep but the horizon I see now offers much hope and shines light on me and the people around me 🌅 Being grateful is an understatement and so is being proud. Counting 20 months of sobriety now 🦍 In 2022, I found a home, and started my reunion with our daughter👸🏽we were together 2-3 days a week. During the weekends I was allowed to headline mainstages to bring #Afrotech, #Amapiano in combination with #House and #Techno to NL's biggest festivals⚡️ In 2022, I released my album #AfricanGold 🏆and we celebrated this with a sold-out release party in the beautiful @adam.theloft the album was nominated twice as best album of the year. In 2022, #PhilouLouzolo 🦍 has become bigger than myself and Philou Louzolo consists of a team professionals and volunteers of enthusiasts who work hard behind the scenes with me to propagate my vision 💚 From the brand Philou Louzolo, my music label @wokoundou was born 🪐 the place where we give newcomers and rising stars a place to develop themselves. Events such as Philou Louzolo & Friends at #Thuishaven, also contributes to my vision to showcase talents and invite international artists. In 2022, we received many different residencies from all types of scenes within the industry, allowing me to express my diverse sound and to build a bridge between these scenes. At a number of residencies we were allowed to co-decide on the programming and concept of the evening. I want to give thanks to my family, our daughter's mother, friends, artists and organizations I work with, my team and fans who have stayed during good and bad times, you know who you are 🌴
