2022 is drawing to an end and it was a hell of year for music - a decade ago, 2012 showed to be a year to remember in it’s own right ⏮️ Mac Miller was winning Best New Artist at award shows, the New New York was storming ahead turning the city’s youth into a force in the whole industry, TDE was proving to be maybe the best label in the West, Nicki Minaj was solidifying herself as maybe the most important woman in rap, the world got to see what many already saw with the individual releases when the Weeknd released Trilogy + so much more many of us were just some kids back then, we couldn’t have known what or who would still be around from then when we became adults, so many whose careers launched then are etched in history now, let’s see who from 2022 can say the same in 2032 ⏩
