5 years on .... 2017 I made this little old sample makeup bag, took it to work to show @ruthlangsford and our Lay Flat make up bag was born! Its been 5 years of LEARNING... Ohhhh the learning has been tremendous, scary, frightening, exciting and exhausting at times. But having built a GREAT team is what makes this possible - you CAN'T do it all on your own (TIP 1) Having @sarah_dmlondon at my side, a wonderful business partner (who can do the things I can't & vice versa (TIP 2) is helping me grow DML to become a household name & keeps me sane! Plus, @laraatdonnamayhq, @themichellepenny ,Robyn, and @dan_clitheroe are our trusted and much loved team who are all super important cogs in this game we are playing. And of course my mum @lincordery who you all love! X Hard work, dedication and stamina are the traits you need to pursue your dream, there have been 101 times over the last 5 years that I've wanted to throw the towel in, go back to a life with less stress...But I haven't .(TIP 3) Even when things have been really hard, we've managed to keep putting one foot in front of the other...and move forward, however slow or fast..because as long as you are moving forward every week then there is NO reason in the world that you won't get to your destination ....its physics! And with the support of YOU our customers, who are so loyal, full of help, and always wishing us well....there's definitely every chance we will get to reach our dream.
