The word alcohol comes from the word al-ghoul, meaning, "spirit eating." Now look at those who have consumed the most alcohol. In my experience (too much experience sadly😓), those who drink the most are often the most dificult to connect to. Not always, but generally. Everyone is different with alcohol. The way I see it, like any poison, when it comes into our temple/body, it starts causing chaos/dissonance onto every part of our body that it reaches. This flux of chaos causes the body to not only suffer, and thus become off balance in the connecting chakras, but it also causes the body to go into a defensive & offensive state, to get rid of the poison. Well, as above so below. Each organ governs certain emotions (energy in motion) that determine our perceived experience. If the body is constantly in a state of defense or offense, then so is the mind. Since the body has to expend so much energy INWARDLY, then the mind does the same thing and this is where the egocentrical behavior gets cultivated. Egocentric folk frequently turn the light back onto themselves, and are more often than not, waiting to reply, to defend their position, rather than to understand where and why the outside position is coming from. Those who consume the most alcohol show the least empathy (ability to feel) and compassion (ability to understand). Thus, less love. I like Paul Cheks definition of love: Love is the empathetic & compassionate connection to some greater whole. How often do we experience that with alcoholics? Anywho, This isn't to shame or judge any of you who drink. But I bet you didn't know this, and for some, I know it'll be just the right info to make changes. I dont mind what y'all do, but be responsible, loving, & an adult. Life is actually way more vibrant and full of more connectivity without alcohol, if you can learn to cultivate yourself accross the board. We incarnated into this earth school for reasons.
