I used to be very scared of any one seeing photos of my teenage self. guess you could say I was a late bloomer. in high school, I’d be the LAST person you’d ever think would launch a beauty brand. the lanky girl with braces, shitty makeup skills, and frizzy hair? yea right. stick to sports, sis. glamour/beauty is not for you. politely ask the sephora squad for help and try to blend in as much as you can. when I look at that girl on the left, I see someone painfully insecure who uses humor as a big ole shield to hide behind. but it’s funny how things change. what’s right for you comes in time. confidence comes in time. fck it. enjoy yourself and be who you are. that’s the ethos behind @caliray and that’s the journey. #transformationtuesday #glowup #caliray #itgetsbetter
