On the first day of my Yoni Steam certification course, we were asked to bring in a photo of our younger selves and then, to look into the child’s eyes and write a letter to the little girl in the picture. I started writing to 5 year old Keisha and the flood of emotions were so immense. I won’t tell you all the details of the letter but I can tell you I cried profusely, almost uncontrollably at times. I was so eager to protect her, to warn her of pitfalls, to beg for her forgiveness, to inspire her to dare to be different and unafraid to be herself at all times. I wanted her to love life and enjoy present moments to the full without haste. So much was unearthed in this letter to my younger self but not all, so periodically, I revisit this exercise. I learned so much in my Yoni Steaming certification class not just about the practice of steaming but so much about myself. I’m no longer afraid to go deep.... ✨K✨
