Let’s ring in the new season together!⁠ ⁠ The first season under the new artistic direction of Matthias Schulz kicks off with a three-day opening weekend from 19 to 21 September. What’s on the program? A recital with Elīna Garanča, accompanied on piano by Matthias Schulz himself – a truly rare occasion; the grand celebration «24h Opernhaus», where our house opens its doors in unexpected ways for a full night and day; and the first major premiere of the 2025/26 season: Strauss’s «Rosenkavalier». And as if that weren’t enough, the very first world premiere of the new Labor productions at the Bernhard Theater – «Wie du warst!
