I remember when I was in high school, one of my classmates would make fun of me because I couldn’t fill my sleeves on any of my shirts. My arms weren’t big enough. So I would try and buy smaller shirts (band tees because we all had an emo stage at that time) to make up for my lack of size. Things like that stick. And fuel me to this day to never return to an unhappy version of myself. I can confidently tell myself I’m in a far more superior shape now than I or any of my other peers were at that time or are currently. All it takes is a little fuel to light the fire. My personal goals have been set.
