WHERE TO PLACE LOWLIGHTS ON A BLONDE When adding dimension back into a blonde I think of areas on the head where the sun ☀️ naturally does not hit. Placing lowlights in these areas will appear more natural in the end result. ❕UNDER THE CROWN❕ This is an area we typically leave more depth and dimension in the hair. When a blonde is over highlighted I add dimension back here so the blonde can fall on top and pop against the lows. ❕ABOVE THE EAR❕ Placing a lowlight above the ear is going to help your face frame pop. This is another area on the head where I typically leave more depth/dimension. ❕UNDER THE LAST HIGHLIGHT ON THE PART❕ I prefer to add lowlights into the hair after I’ve placed my highlights.
