The Blessing of Money : Life As A Blessing Reflecting back on something a wise woman shared with me in Jamaica; ’money is a blessings.’ I wound up at an iconic place called Bar B Barn in Negril where I stayed along the tranquil blue waters of the 10-mile beach for two months. I often walked / ran all day from end to end, as a meditation, often with a dollar in my pocket, enough for a coconut to purchase along the journey. After some days people offered me food along the route. She said to me ’money is a blessing.’ At the time it didn’t fully land for me. I couldn’t fully see it at the time. Blessings I wondered, how exactly? I’ve let the message and its meaning marinate for over 2.5 years. This trip was right before the pandemic happened. Actually it was March 19, and the beaches started to clear out. First sign was an all-inclusive Italian resort was vacant of it’s bronzed tourists playing volleyball and smoking and sunbathing behind ropes. They were gone. The woman offered me to rent a room at her place and stay. ’Money is a blessing’ she said. ’Money is blessing’ What is the purpose of money anyway? My brother said something wise to me, ’you have money for this this exact thing, this exact moment.’ Meaning to release it/ invest it in this moment / this experience. I see where generational hoarding, holding onto has gripped me. I release this. I am freeing of this Money is meant to circulate. To flow. I am learning. Money is a blessing. Each time we release it we can support someone and something We can express gratitude and appreciation for something We are indeed so blessed in so many ways. Nature shows us her abundance We dont need money to see and feel abundant. However in our current society money is a means of exchange, an energy of gratitude. If you have money consider where it can flow to support our growing planet and it’s resources If you dont have money, create ssomething beautiful from your heart that people ccan appreciate and contribute towards. This takes courage, which the root of the word courage is heart! Leading w the heart and intention and harnessing the warrior / warrioress spirit to rise above fear! AHO #money
