FALLING FOR FALL 🍁🍂 I hear people around me singing the autumn-lovesong. They like the way it looks, the change of seasons, the colors, the moodiness. I don’t quite know whether I do or I don’t. I quite like the smell of fallen leaves when it has rained, I like to be in the forest when the autumn sun is out. But I’m not quite a fan of the gloom, the melancholy and the decay of what once was. The heading towards an ending. I’m more of a beginning person. I don’t quite like the cold winds and the long dark nights we tend to spend inside the house. I dó like the butternut-tarts and being next to the fireplace, though. And the woolen sweaters, those too. I just don’t know yet. I feel that this emotion, the not-knowing, fits this season quite well too. It’s an in-between state. Not yet winter, not summer anymore. Like fall. 🍁🍂 #fall #gloom #decay #inbetweenseasons
