The saddest thing I hear is physicians telling young people not to go into medicine. There’s no doubt that it’s hard being a physician nowadays. But if we don’t find ways to keep the profession alive, it will be replaced by AI and substandard care. Older docs can help future physicians by sharing their experiences and showing them how healthcare is run nowadays.
