Do you want to eat healthier? Yes or no let me know below. I used these protein noodles that I’ve found in the supermarket. I already had the cabbage and the carrots in the fridge. You can mix and match the ingredients and if you don’t want to have chicken you could use tofu or tempeh etc. I have recently made a real effort to eat more protein every day. Additionally I have been trying to eat more fibre every day. This has stopped me from snacking so much on sugary foods which sometimes happens as a result of the many hormonal changes happening at this time. I am trying to get at least 1 g of protein per pound of weight. There is research to show that protein powders can be used in your diet to substitute if you struggle to get all that protein in. Much of the research appears to say that protein powders are fine to consume. Obviously it’s better to eat lean protein et cetera. I found that due to hormonal changes I was eating a lot more sugary food and this was definitely affecting my mental state. Filling up on loads of veggies and fibre and protein and fruit and lots of water for me makes a massive difference. I don’t know the science behind it but knowing that I’ve made an effort to eat something good for myself feels like a real act of self care. How about you?
