In 2011, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Sjögren’s Syndrome. The joint pain and fatigue were impacting my ability to function on a daily basis. I reached a point where I couldn’t play tennis anymore. As a fierce competitor, I wanted to conquer this thing and wasn’t going to let anything take me down, so I started on my complete wellness journey. I became passionate about exploring plant-based nutrition, spending years doing research and working with world-class nutritionists to optimize my diet. However, I was disappointed that I couldn’t find any protein shake options that offered the complete nutrition I was looking for in an easy, accessible format. I knew that there could be something better that fit all my needs. So, I started creating my own shakes, exploring with different superfoods and nutritional ingredients.
