My heart always swells with love on this day, as I’m reminded what a privilege it is to be able to carry on living and loving in her honor. Nine years later and I still feel the warmth of her embrace, smell the scent of her perfume (White Shoulders), and hear the sound of her sneeze, which she felt the need to make as loud and dramatic as possible. We had a complicated, emotional relationship, and I miss it every day. The second photo is of a recently discovered note that my dad wrote to her, I think before I was born. I guess she made quite an impression on him.❤️#CHK
