New mix and interview out on @stampthewax today!!! Very grateful to them for having me on their ‘Diggers Directory’ series. The full feature is up on their site (linked in the usual spot). In the interview, we chat about music, records and the colorful characters, places and connections through all that. On the mix side, it’s a 90 min journey from deep sound bath to chest rattling dancefloor bliss - a focus on low end vibrations. There’s a heavy emphasis on the sub frequency throughout the mix, connecting the dots through various eras (street soul, dub, broken beat, electro, deep house ukg, jungle), my influences drawn all over from sound-system culture to spaces like Plastic People and Shelter are definitely apparent.
