DAY IN A LIFE OF A DESTINATION WEDDING BRIDE 👰🏻‍♀️ We’re making this a series because I want to take you along all of the wedding planning process. I can’t believe we’re officially 5 months away from the wedding! I’m not ready 🫣 Here’s what I worked on this week: 1. I picked out the bridesmaids dress colors! Ultimately chose @birdygrey because they have a ton of style options. I ordered multiple swatches to play around with the colors + fabric. I will say it was really helpful being able to touch and feel the fabric. It made my decision making easier! 2. In Filipino weddings the bride and groom provide the outfits for their bridal party. Since I’ll be ordering the girl’s welcome party + wedding fits, I created a Google form for them to fill out. In the form I asked them for their preferred sizes, colors, links to dresses, shoes and accessories. This way it can streamline the ordering process for me! 3. Worked with @martinmbautista to design my dream wedding dress. He’s located in Manila so we’re designing the dress virtually. Ever since I was in high school I always knew I wanted to have a say in how my dress was created. I chose Martin because he was highly recommended by my friends in the Philippines, Matt and I want to support more Filipino artists, and the overall cost is much more affordable compared to the states. Huge plus I don’t have to carry and fly my wedding dress all the way to the Philippines. Wedding planning is no easy feat but we’re taking it on day by day 🤪 If there’s anything you want to see more of please let me know!
