The reality is that in this move called life - we feel like we’re the only ones in the picture. Truth is there are a bunch of us living the same story- the great thing is we get to choose who our director is. I’ve chosen God. Sometimes as the lead characters we make the mistake of following our own direction and mess up the story, get hurt or hurt our cast mates in the process, but if God is the director we must trust him, because for a fact his way leads to a happy ending. We must realise that those who we think are the supporting cast are actually leads - in their own version of the same story. Yes It can be lonely, with heart breaks & plot twists. The truth is that most of the time we’re in our trailers alone, waiting to be called for the next scene - but If you choose God to direct your story, you’ll always have him to help navigate you through each scene, to lean on for understanding or when you feel you can’t do another take. I tell my director each day, I’m not perfect, I want to grow and be the best actor for this movie and for my fellow cast mates, so that as they play the leads in their film, they can be better too.
