Last night I hosted twenty friends and fellow Eternity Foundation board members - an “intimate dinner,” as @francis.j.pedraza would call it. We toasted @saranna.bielcohen in her absence (our connector extraordinaire...when will she ever return from Athens...) and listened as Francis and Professor Robert Thurman riffed on staying attuned to ancient wisdom in an age of AI. The soufflés were risked by the fireside chat/ which is just as it should be. Conversation first, always. New York feels like fall again/ even the white gourds showed up. Dinner was on my grandmother’s table, which always has its own kind of magic ✨ I love bringing people together/ especially when the conversation drifts toward Greece, enlightenment, and what endures. Never thought I’d be studying Tibetan Buddhism, but that’s the beauty of this city, and of life when you stay open. 🤍 So much ahead for @eternity_giving
