First day, NYCC—Thursday, 7 October—wowza! Dunno about upstairs but Artists Alley rocked. Nothing like being functionally next door to CBC! Get to see a *lot* of them during the day. Non stop queue for me, opening to closing. Without my friend Cameron to help 😵‍💫! He was great. Fans on line were even better, despite having to wait. (But boyoboy the tables could be just a tad longer. Talk about intimate spacing!) also touched with friends galore. (Did I mention the Alley is both huge & packed? 😳 Finding friends can be a real adventure!) great thing about today, a green light from my Editor Marc Basso to flash a couple of very cool Salva pages from X-treme 2022 #1 (on sale this November, so get your orders in; the book looks great but it also has *7* covers! Oh for goodness sakes!) Had some great, touching, impassioned conversations; I even met a $ designer from the US Mint! Imagine, a bill designed by Bill Sienkevicz! Or a Kubert or an Olivier? 🤭 And this was yesterday! Anyroad, looking forward to seeing how today goes; will fans take off for a holiday weekend or head west for the Javits? 🤔 Actually can’t wait, so see y’all there, yah? Yah! 😉
