Alright... it’s bean a little over a week since we closed Dracula and now I have had a little time to process and rest. Dracula was my 3rd main stage production that I have been cast in at Shenandoah and I am so grateful that I was able to have this experience. For those of you that don’t know, I was cast as Renfield this semester let me just tell you... it was a beast. This role is the most challenging and intense roll that I have ever had to play. I cannot tell you how much I feel I have grown as an actor in this role. It has taught me more about character study, analyzing the shit out of a script, how to maintain my physical and mental health while playing such an involved role, how to fully commit to a role that is wildly intimidating, and most importantly... how to swallow an alarming amount of fake blood. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to the cast and crew involved for being amazing to work with and so supportive during this process. I love you all and I hope I get to work with you all again soon. You are all very wonderful and wildly talented.
