This was definitely the biggest I have ever seen Nihiwatu . Paddled out first light and just kept paddling up the point until I got to what seemed like a good take off spot which was right in front of what was @claudegraves1 house at the time. Claude reckons some of the early sets were about 4 times overhead. This pic is from later in the day as the swell settled. Back in the 80's Claude and I used to trek in and sleep on the beach.
