July! I continue to be a weirdo about sharing cool things in the moment but here’s me getting over myself and sharing how special June & this Spring were anyway. 1) I didn’t watch much TV while I was in Ghana but got into Bridgerton a soon as I got back. Bridgerton Experience was so much more fun than I anticipated. Highly recommend! Thanks to my sister @shawnieoneal for treating me and elevating the experience like only she can. 2) Huxtable x Heath. I hate cleaning but the night before I got a call that Ms. Rashad needed the @heathgallery for a shoot, I missed the Tony awards and instead stayed up all night and cleaned my bedroom. Like top to bottom. I let go of many of my favorite things that just don’t fit or work for me anymore. I feel like in doing that - I made space for this lovely encounter to happen. She was gracious and lovely and I still can’t believe this moment came together so seamlessly. 3) Frieze NY was special. Nelson caught this shot of me and I’m grateful he shared it with me. 4) Good times at the @natlacademy benefit. If you ever want to be introduced properly, get a friend like @t.moore212. He makes the most generous and thoughtful intros and it means a lot when you’re navigating a new space. 5) It’s a journey baby. 😆 6) I’ve been hosting things, and saying yes, and it’s been a delight to reconnect with spaces that have given me so much. 7) I love the @stylelikeu series but this clip from the Adrienne Maree Brown episode continues to resonate with me deeply. I want to be the love of my life. ✨
