Iceland ranks as one of the top 10 expensive countries in the world. But it has unreal places that it’s worth every penny to explore it! ✨ ✈️ Visa, Flight, Insurance Visa cost to VFS was 150$, travel insurance was 50$. Flight was 1000$ from Seattle airport in US. 🤩 Travel experiences Total spent was 400$ on blue lagoon, sky lagoon, blue ice cave tour and glacier boat tour. Such unique experiences are not to be missed! 🌭 Food and Stay @heyexplorers shopped in grocery shops and cooked 2 days. Tried gas stations food some days and ate in Indian restaurants.So stay became expensive with kitchen. You can totally cut down by renting hotels or renting a camper van. Since it was honeymoon, we splurged it on stay and fancy restaurants. It costed 900$ per person for stay and food. 🚙 Rental Car with insurance, fuel Rented a 4x4 with full protection insurance as the weather got crazy during our visit. Got good corporate discounts. So it costed 900$ with everything. 💵 Total cost It comes to 3300$ per person.
