It was magical strolling in Brooklyn Heights - while it lasted (only a couple of hours of pure winter wonder) ❄️❄️❄️ 5️⃣ I added a pic from last year that popped up as my “memory of the day” today... there must be a reason for that, right?! 6️⃣ A beautiful snowy view from our window in Tannersville NY - Luca teaches ski @huntermountain and I love joining him for the weekend 🥰 it’s such an enchanted place, only 2 hours away from Manhattan!!! Please let me know in comments if you’d like to know more about it!!! 7️⃣ On Jan 6th, in Italy, we celebrate “La Befana” (similar to the Three Kings), and the little girl in the pic is me 🥹💕 Both my brother and I were excited and terrified by La Befana (think of her as a mix between Santa and an Italian nonna). She would show up on the night of the 5th and she would scold us for our secret mischief (like me stealing my grandpa’s candies while he was sleeping 🍬). She’d give us coal, onions and garlic 🧄. We were always on the urge of crying... at that point she made us promising to be good, and she would swap those with stocking (yup, like Santa’s in the US) full of candies and even additional gifts!!!
