•Appreciation post for our new art baby in the bedroom by my favorite professor during my bfa years. @pasqualinaazzarello is such a beautiful soul and artist, and it is such an honor to have one of her works hanging in our space. •👋🏼 Dumbo friends, you’ve def passed by her Superfine mural under the Manhattan Bridge overpass and it’s a prettier corner bc of it ✨ •This is one of Pasqualina’s studio creations - i instantly loved it for the graphic B&W pattern and the organic/imperfect painterly marks. I forget the title but it reminds me of a rainbow, and just the other day I noticed & loved how the arches mimic the radiator we have in the corner. Love when new perceptions unfold, & I’m sure this simple abstract piece will continue to offer more analogies to connect with as the days and years go on. I’m a big advocate for living with art, esp real handmade art - it’s the best, and this piece in particular makes the entire room calmer and more complete. 🤍🖤🤍
