Here’s to me rejoining society. After months of discipline, dedication, and sacrifice— not connecting with friends, minimizing time with family, not celebrating holidays— after months of waking up with the weight and mental exhaustion of studying for two day-long board exams and prioritizing future me, I am finally on the other side! I DID IT!! I hope this post inspires. This was my hardest challenge yet for reasons over and above the actual exams. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my partner and the strong foundation provided by my training institution @uchicagomed. I am forever grateful and humbled by the opportunity to have learned from the very best.
