How the @alpinestars Sm5 RyanRoadkill treatment was applied. Lots of sketches. Flicking through sketchbooks for characters and compositions. I remembered this looming skull character that I thought would sit really well on the rear, then I tied it in with some flames. It took some serious time to make the characters sit well and to bulk the design out with flowing patterns that felt like my work. When I got the colour palette I could use, I knew the fluro colours needed to heavily used 👌. So yeah, give roadkill and SM5 and this is it “Solar Flare”. 1 of 3 colourways.
