Making progress on the investment property... I think we should name her 🤭✨ Any ideas I’m stuck. But here are some of the juicy deets on it all: So the property is a 2 bedroom/2 bath and pretty updated so there isn’t too many renovations that needed to be done. However the last owner didn’t leave it in great condition so we’ve been having to do a lot of touch ups before we felt comfortable beginning to furnish. Her dogs literally ate up the baseboards and the carpet smelt terribly of pet so we had to get new baseboards & new carpet. Then we applied a fresh coat of paint around the entire house because the walls also looked crazy. Luckily we noticed these things before we closed on the property so we were able to negotiate a $3700 credit from the seller and our cost ended up being just $50 over that credit so I’m super happy about that. It’s already looking so much better, now onto furnishing 🥳. I’m gonna start downstairs first then go upstairs to the bedrooms.
