Max Fierst, Maximilian, Gnarled Mac, my oldest Art partner-in-crime, poet, painter, film maker, trouble taker, party launching Wildman-- Buonanotte. I took this photo of Max when he was 16, I was 18. Max is holding my childhood cat, Max. We were absurd terrorists on the town desperately trying to imitate the fury of the Marx Brothers doing Dada moves. When we met writer and all around hooligan Ezra Nielsen (@boogiebrowntown husband) The three of us would conduct the social experiment that would make Fluxus artists smile :) FALLING ON THE FLOOR we did this everywhere, stores, restaurants, NJ transit, and worked our way up to the MoMA and finally the galleries of the MET. Many times we would fall in a pile, faux howling and flailing our limbs. On occasion Max wood pop back up and explain to the horrified public that this was an experiment and that no one should be alarmed. Now Max, ya can't fall on cloud floors- you'll just fall through :( PAX MAX
