I remember all the moments, cleaning bathrooms, making coffee, uncredited/unpaid work, taking risks that didn’t pay off at all, being sidelined when I wasn’t ready and having to grind for a spot when I was, navigating people abusing their power to squeeze your success for their own. All this to say that if you do your work honestly, fairly, and in the pursuit of truth/happiness then you will reach your goal. Even if it’s the longer path it’s the one that honors the sacrifices you make.
